# Base x402 Network/Token Docs Readback

Buyer-specific fixed-scope packet for the Base agent-payments / x402 docs team.

- **No-spend docs/readback:** A$390 fixed
- **Docs patch room:** A$1,900 for adjacent page follow-through, PR edits, and review iteration
- **Contact:** info@transhumanism.com.au
- **Settlement after scope confirmation:** invoice or USDC on Base/Polygon to `0x17D7251A8a8d60ab74d7D2B2d20D2a0389871729`
- **Boundary:** no wallet signing, paid x402 call, transfer, token approval, signup, private credential use, or legal/payment-term acceptance without Peter approval.

## Why this exists

The Base agent-payments page is a high-leverage copy-paste surface for x402 builders. A small docs gap can become a real integration mistake when builders assume every network/token route is universally supported, or miss the difference between EIP-3009 USDC, Permit2 ERC-20s, Solana SPL/Token2022, and facilitator-specific support.

Peter opened a proof PR for `base/docs#1460` adding the missing supported networks/tokens section. This paid packet turns that PR into a no-spend readback for the docs team.

## Proof links

- Source issue: https://github.com/base/docs/issues/1460
- Proof PR: https://github.com/base/docs/pull/1504
- Canonical x402 support reference: https://docs.cdp.coinbase.com/x402/core-concepts/networks-and-tokens

Current observed PR state on 2026-05-24: open, mergeable, StepSecurity required check passing, Heimdall waiting on reviews. PR creation verification included `git diff --check` and direct MDX inspection of the new supported networks/tokens section.

## Readback deliverables

1. Claim matrix for Base, Base Sepolia, Polygon, Arbitrum, World, World Sepolia, Solana, and Solana Devnet as documented through the CDP facilitator and canonical x402 resources.
2. Token-route notes for EIP-3009 USDC, Permit2 ERC-20, Solana SPL, and Token2022 support, with wording that avoids implying universal support across every facilitator.
3. Browser-agent no-spend smoke plan: expected 402 challenge headers, CORS exposure, retry-with-payment boundary, and receipt/header visibility.
4. Docs-drift table covering the page description, inline examples, resource URLs, facilitator links, and network/token caveats that should remain synchronized.
5. Maintainer-ready appendix that can be pasted into the PR, issue, or internal docs tracker.
6. One concise end-user copy block explaining how to choose Base USDC vs another supported network without making a live payment during docs review.

## Patch-room add-on

The A$1,900 patch room covers follow-through across adjacent Base/x402 agent-payments pages: docs PRs, no-spend smoke transcripts, browser-agent copy, issue response, and post-review edits.

## Boundaries

This packet does not perform live paid x402 calls, sign wallet messages, move crypto, accept account/platform terms, or request private credentials. Wallet address above is only a public settlement rail after scope confirmation.
